Surgical Technologist

Stoughton Health is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to support our Operating Room team on a Per-Diem basis.
The ideal candidate will assist the professional nurse or physician in providing patient care to those requiring surgical procedures during the operative and immediate post-operative surgery.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepares the Operating Room for patients
Maintains a clean and sterile environment
Passes instruments and other sterile supplies
Conducts routine inspections of sterile supplies
Understands the sterilization process
Requirements:
Required:
Graduate of an accredited program for Surgical Technologists
Preferred:
Post-secondary coursework in Central Service skills
Preferred Professional Experience:
One-year experience as a Surgical Technologist is preferred
Required Certification:
Current BLS certification
Computer Competency:
Basic Computer Skills are expected for this position.
Access electronic health records, and use online learning tools to remain current with continuing education requirements.
Microsoft Office Suite Skills:
Beginning Skills - Able to perform basic things such as opening a document, change font, save a document, write a letter.

Per-Diem
