We are seeking a highly skilled Dialysis Registered Nurse / RN to join our team at Kindred Hospital - Philadelphia. As a Dialysis Registered Nurse / RN, you will play a vital role in the recovery process for chronic, critically ill, and medically complex patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing care to patients in need of renal replacement therapy.
- Document patient assessments, vital signs, treatment reviews, and observations in patient medical records.
- Communicate emergencies, patient life-threatening complications, and related incidents to supervisor, hospital staff, and the patient's physician.
- Initiate and discontinue prescribed renal replacement therapy, including administering medications and documenting activity on the hemodialysis flow sheet or hospital EMR.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
- Current Registered Nurse / RN license in the state of practice required.
- Current CPR certification through American Heart Association.
- Minimum 1 year dialysis experience in an acute care or chronic setting preferred.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook required.
