Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Acadia Healthcare. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals to our patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook food according to menus and recipes
- Direct and supervise food preparation and serving activities
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, appliances, and work areas
- Take inventory of food supplies and equipment
- Work with food service leadership to ensure menus are varied and nutritionally balanced
- Perform and coordinate food production, cleaning, and maintenance activities
- Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in the culinary field preferred
- Two or more years' experience in food service, preferably in an institutional setting
- ServSafe Certification or similar food safety certification
- Intermediate level of attention to detail and written communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Inspired to perform well by having a good work-life balance
