Quality Inspector

At ASA Electronics LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled Quality/Warranty Inspector to join our team. As a Quality/Warranty Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our products.
Key Responsibilities:- Inspect products using mechanical and packaging drawings, work instructions, product manuals, test specifications, regulatory certifications, and approval samples.
- Run basic product testing, including function and specification testing.
- Accurately record inspection results on preformatted reports or in Windows-based software.
- Route products to the proper location within the warehouse daily.
- Keep work areas clean and organized daily.
- Follow written and verbal work instructions to perform all tasks.
- Perform any other reasonable request from management.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must read, write, speak, and comprehend English fluently.
- Educated in quality and electronic fundamentals preferred.
- Must have a mechanical and electronic aptitude.
- ISO/QS knowledge preferred.
- Ability to use measuring and test equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and standards.
- Ability to understand and follow quality standards.
- Must be dependable and willing to work overtime as requested.
- Must be detail-oriented and well-disciplined.
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
Productivity: Based on 60 units inspected in an hour. The productivity goal will be calculated as follows: Daily inspected quantity totaled for each month / total number of hours worked for that month. Minus any approved by management, time spent on other job functions. The percentage of the bonus will equal the percentage of the goal up to 100%.
Accuracy: Based on the amount of errors made in testing and data entry. This will be recorded as a daily percentage but tracked monthly. This will include any errors made while performing the job description above. Any errors that result in bonus reduction will be recorded and reviewed during the performance review. The percentage of errors made will directly affect the total bonus by the same amount.
