Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective manufacturing processes by evaluating product requirements and designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment.
  • Apply industry knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, and tooling, and collaborate with production associates to optimize manufacturing efficiency.
  • Identify and resolve process operating problems, investigate equipment failures, and share technical assistance with workers on the floor.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of quality issues during the manufacturing process and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with operations and management personnel to develop a shared vision for the completion of daily tasks and report on those activities.
  • Monitor and improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow while optimizing space and equipment layout.
  • Identify new and creative solutions to resolve complex issues during the manufacturing process.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering is required.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of manufacturing engineering or mechanical engineering experience within a manufacturing setting is required.
  • Must have experience working on the production floor with various types of manufacturing equipment.
  • Must possess the ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams/schematics.
  • Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must possess strong analytical, trouble-shooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be a highly motivated, self-starter who is able to succeed with little supervision.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to effectively work as part of a cross-functional team.
