PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
The role focuses on the execution of Supply Chain processes, management of inventory, and recovery of investments.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Facilitate the successful implementation of Supply Chain processes, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness in materials and services procurement. (10%)
- Assist in the execution of inventory management and investment recovery strategies, including the analysis of inventory performance and forecasting. (15%)
- Support Category Managers in maintaining contracts and purchase orders, as well as monitoring supplier performance. (25%)
- Resolve daily operational issues such as invoice discrepancies, supplier modifications, and unit measure adjustments. Investigate and rectify mismatches related to invoices, contracts, and deliveries. (25%)
- Contribute to the management of supplier relationships and performance metrics. (10%)
- Assist in adapting to changes in customer requirements regarding material requests and purchase orders, ensuring effective communication with suppliers. (15%)
- Support Emergency Response activities as assigned by the Business Units.
- Assist in planning and scheduling material and service requirements.
- Implement sourcing strategies for the procurement of materials and services.
- Support Strategic Sourcing initiatives to enhance material quality, timely delivery, and cost savings.
- Help maintain a qualified supplier base.
- Facilitate communication across business units and with suppliers to ensure effective sourcing.
- Assist in monitoring supply chain performance through indicators and trend analysis, mitigating risks, and enhancing supplier performance initiatives.
- Bachelor's Degree in business, engineering, science, or a related field with 2-4 years of relevant experience, or a High School diploma with 3-6 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- Proficient in PC applications including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and relevant software tools.
- Strong analytical capabilities.
- Familiarity with Inventory, Purchasing, and Accounts Payable systems, as well as eSourcing tools.
