About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Massachusetts General Hospital. As an Ambulatory RN Primary Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide proficient, conscientious patient-and-family-centered evidence-based nursing care utilizing the nursing process and interdisciplinary teamwork.
  • Assess, triage, and provide nursing consultation to patients, utilizing telecommunications technologies.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure coordination of care and seamless transitions.
  • Document nursing assessment, interventions, plan, and outcome in a timely manner.
  • Empower patients and families to optimally manage their healthcare and navigate the healthcare system.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • At least two years of nursing experience, with previous experience in Ambulatory or Primary Care preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in wound care, venipuncture, IV therapy skills, vaccines/vaccine administration.
