OBJECTIVE:
Housekeepers play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall presentation of the ranch. Responsibilities include working in guest accommodations, communal areas, and the linen facility. All tasks are executed to meet the quality standards set by management and communicated by the Director of Rooms. A successful candidate will take pride in their work, demonstrate flexibility, and show initiative.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Perform daily cleaning of public spaces.
  • Conduct daily cleaning of guest accommodations.
  • Distribute guest amenities.
  • Carry out evening cleaning duties in public areas.
  • Assist with evening turn-down service in guest accommodations.
  • Execute thorough weekly cleaning of public spaces.
  • Conduct comprehensive weekly cleaning of guest accommodations.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the linen room, guest laundry, and staff restrooms.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of vacuums and humidifiers.
  • Perform window cleaning tasks.
  • Engage in carpet cleaning activities.
  • Report maintenance issues to the Executive Housekeeper.
  • Assist with laundry tasks.
  • Perform mending as needed.
  • Occasionally assist with table bussing and dishwashing during guest meals.
  • Maintain a friendly demeanor with guests at all times.

NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform any related duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to walk distances in various weather conditions.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Capability to push, pull, bend, and reach.
  • Familiarity with eco-friendly cleaning chemicals.
  • Ability to work with bleach and other cleaning agents.
  • Comfortable working in environments with potential hazards.
