Azimuth Energy is on the lookout for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to take on the role of Project Manager (PM).
The PM position is a full-time role that encompasses support for various facets of our operations. The PM will collaborate closely with both Operations and Sales teams, managing up to 5-6 projects simultaneously, each at different stages of their lifecycle and in diverse locations. A typical day may involve juggling multiple projects across various phases, necessitating a strong ability to shift focus quickly and efficiently. Project Managers are tasked with overseeing the daily operational details of each project.
All tasks are performed within a PC/Windows environment.

2.0 AZIMUTH OVERVIEW
Azimuth Energy specializes in delivering solar energy solutions tailored for utilities, businesses, and developers, enhancing financial outcomes while promoting climate sustainability. We are an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management firm focused on photovoltaic systems for commercial rooftops and carports, utility-scale ground mounts, battery storage systems, microgrids, and electric vehicle charging infrastructure. Our projects are dynamic, engaging, and fulfilling, with responsibilities that include interaction with a diverse clientele and various project types across the U.S. and the Caribbean.
We build lasting relationships with our clients through exceptional service and high-quality project execution. Our delivery model is adaptable, catering to the needs of the project team and clients, whether through traditional At-Risk General Contracting, Construction Management, Owner's Engineer-of-Record / Owner's Agent, or Independent Engineer.
3.0 PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct site assessments (5%)
- Manage project cash flow and accounting (5%)
- Oversee engineering task administration and delegation (10%)
- Handle invoicing (5%)
- Maintain client management and communications (15%)
- Schedule project timelines (5%)
- Supervise subcontractor management (15%)
- Perform inspections (15%)
- Develop Scope of Work (5%)
- Ensure comprehensive project documentation (10%)
- Conduct project estimating (10%)
4.0 TRAVEL
Some travel is expected for local projects (weekly), national projects (monthly), and international projects (annually). The PM should possess a valid passport or have no restrictions on obtaining one.
5.0 PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

6.0 QUALIFICATIONS
6.1 ESSENTIAL
A. Proven experience in managing engineering teams and construction projects
B. Strong organizational capabilities
C. Excellent verbal and written communication skills

E. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Project, Excel, and Word
F. Strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to collaborate in a diverse team environment
G. A passion for continuous learning through both self-directed and structured training
6.2 PREFERRED
A. NABCEP certification in PV Installation
B. Familiarity with NFPA National Electrical Code
C. OSHA-10 certification
7.0 EDUCATION
A degree or equivalent training in Construction Management or a related field is required, along with ongoing education in solar technologies and energy-related subjects.
8.0 PARTICULARS
- Employment Type: Full-Time Employee, 40 hours per week
- Azimuth will provide a Windows PC laptop. The candidate must supply their own:
A. Cell phone
B. Personal transportation: if using a personal vehicle, must have a minimum insurance coverage of $100,000 in liability in addition to statutory requirements.
- The office is based in St. Louis, MO. Candidates may work remotely if they demonstrate the ability to work effectively from a distance. Regular visits to the home office will be necessary. Candidates must be adept at managing personnel who work both remotely and in-office under a hybrid model.
9.0 COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Typical Salary: $80k - $100k
- Health insurance: The company covers 100% of the employee's health insurance, short-term and long-term disability, and life insurance.

- 401(k) retirement plan: Azimuth contributes an amount equal to 3% of each employee's salary into their 401(k) account.
