As an Automotive Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our customers' vehicles. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough inspections and diagnostics of vehicles.
- Performing repairs and maintenance tasks including brakes, suspension, and tire services.
- Securing customer approval for necessary repairs and maintaining a tidy work environment.
- Collaborating with fellow technicians and providing guidance to junior team members.
- Test driving vehicles to ensure quality repairs and safe operation.
Essential Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive technician.
- Valid driver's license.
- Possession of basic automotive tools or participation in a tool purchase program.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong focus on customer service and teamwork.
- Possession of an Automotive Technician State Inspector's license, where applicable.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ASE certification in one or more areas (A1-A8).
- Automotive Technician State Inspector License.
- Certification or degree from an automotive technical school.
