Job Description:

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and customer service. Our pharmacy technicians are the face of our company, interacting with customers and developing strong relationships with our patients.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Pharmacy Technician. In this role, you will assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including filling prescriptions, processing transactions, and providing customer service.

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your skills and knowledge to provide excellent patient care and customer service. You will also have the chance to develop your skills and advance your career through our comprehensive training program.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including filling prescriptions and processing transactions
  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and resolving issues
  • Develop strong relationships with customers and patients
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing skills and knowledge to provide excellent patient care and customer service
  • Participate in our comprehensive training program to develop skills and advance career
Requirements:
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
  • Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment
  • Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens
  • Prefer good math skills and computer skills
  • Prefer knowledge of store inventory control and PTCB certification
