About the Role

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality patient care and safety in our diagnostic imaging department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Position patients and adjust equipment to ensure optimal image quality and patient comfort.
  • Develop and process radiographic images, ensuring accurate and timely results.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to departmental and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advances in radiologic technology and patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Current licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in the state of Illinois.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
