Job Title: Radiology Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our diagnostic imaging department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Position patients, adjust equipment, and secure support devices to perform procedures.
  • Determine appropriate radiographic techniques based on anatomy and patient condition to obtain quality films.
  • Operate advanced and sophisticated radiology equipment.
  • Assist radiologists with procedures, including specialty procedures.
  • Adhere to safety standards and practices to ensure patient safety and quality care.
  • Perform clerical duties, such as maintaining patient records and answering telephones.
  • Coordinate quality control tasks, including film quality checks and patient flow management.
  • Provide instruction and orientation to new technologists.
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited AMA School of Radiology.
  • IDNS license.
  • 1-3 years of experience as a general radiographer.
  • Certified in radiology and registered by ARRT.
  • CPR certification.
