Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team at Fairview Park Hospital. As a Registered Nurse in our ICU, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, adhering to the hospital's philosophy and objectives.
- Prescribe, delegate, and coordinate all nursing care provided to assigned patients, ensuring that all standards associated with performance, nursing practice, and nursing care are met.
- Assess and reassess patient condition, initiate a plan of care, and begin discharge planning on admission.
- Maintain and apply current nursing standards and clinical competency, including the National Patient Safety Goals, and apply critical thinking skills to prioritize and problem-solve.
- Meet the personal and practical needs of patients and families, using effective communication skills, and demonstrate accountability for completion of assignments, reliability, and dependability.
- Continuously develop self, provide leadership, and actively participate in Performance Improvement Activities, directing others as needed.
- Reflect HCA values and its ethical and compliance principles in daily activities.
- Acute Care or Critical Care experience is strongly preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Georgia RN licensure or compact license.
- Current CPR certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
- Certification in specialty area preferred.
