We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at LanceSoft. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment used in the production of poly pipe.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and repair equipment used in the production of poly pipe
• Provide support for the installation, upgrade, maintenance, and inspection of control systems to deliver enhancements to systems to improve performance and reliability
• Undertake emergency troubleshooting on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment to determine fault and provide resolution
• Prepare reports on machine faults and errors to identify and create maintenance schedule
• Work individually and collaboratively to reduce machine outages and stoppages
Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent level of education
• 3+ years of experience in an electrical/electronic repair industrial environment
• Strong mechanical abilities
• Experience with PLC, HMI, VFD, Controls Electronics, or CNC controls
• Strong experience with automations in an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Ability to disassemble equipment, diagnose problems, and reassemble in a safe and proficient manner
• Experience with predictive maintenance management concepts and the ability to use advanced devices to perform diagnosis
• Ability to translate complex technical information in an easy-to-understand manner to assist with decision making
