We are seeking a skilled and experienced Horizontal Boring Mill Operator to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating our shop machines in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate horizontal boring mills to machine parts to drawing specifications or sample parts.
- Set up and read drawings to ensure accurate production.
- Use overhead cranes safely and efficiently to move heavy equipment and materials.
- Perform mathematical calculations to ensure accurate measurements and production.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve production goals and deadlines.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
- Strong math background and ability to read drawings.
- Ability to lift and move 50 lbs.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
