Job Summary:We are a multi-craft company that focuses on delivering exceptional services to our customers. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for providing preventative care and repairs for HVAC systems, as well as installing new systems. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the effectiveness and safety of our customers' HVAC systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
- Perform repairs and replacements of defective equipment, mechanical components, or wiring within the HVAC system.
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks and inspections on HVAC equipment.
- Inspect HVAC systems for effectiveness and safety.
- Maintain accurate records of customer appointments and payment transactions.
- Manage inventory of equipment, tools, and HVAC resources.
- Install new HVAC systems.
- 3-5 years of experience in HVAC maintenance and repair.
- Certification through the Environmental Protection Agency to handle refrigerants.
- State HVAC technician license.
- Certification or associate's degree from an HVAC program at a technical school.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- State driver's license.
The physical demands of this job include standing, walking, using hands to finger, handle, or feel, reaching with hands and arms, and talking or hearing. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment:The work environment is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, extreme heat, risk of electrical shock, and vibration.
