Program Overview

Over a span of 18 to 24 months, Harris' program places you in a pivotal role, providing both practical experience and theoretical knowledge across essential industry sectors through 10 rotations.

Field Operations

Engage with diverse professionals on job sites, enhancing your understanding of safety protocols, customer relations, and more. Duration: 3 months.

Cost Estimation

Familiarize yourself with the tools, labor, and applications essential for project execution. Duration: 3 months.

Engineering and Design

Gain insights into mechanical systems design, analysis, and processes utilizing cutting-edge technology. Duration: 1 month.

Virtual Design and Construction (VDC)

Create design documentation and understand the implications of data management on a project's lifecycle. Duration: 2 months.

Manufacturing Processes

Immerse yourself in a fabrication environment, learning to manage schedules and lean manufacturing principles. Duration: 2 months.

Business Operations

Discover the inner workings of the construction industry by collaborating with various departments, including human resources, payroll, and procurement. Duration: 1 month.

Customer Service

Develop exceptional customer service skills through maintenance agreements, client meetings, and more. Duration: 1 month.

Automation and Controls

Delve into the realm of automation through programming experiences and related activities. Duration: 1 month.

Project Management Fundamentals

Learn budgeting, change orders, and other critical skills necessary for effective project management. Duration: 5 to 12 months.

Capstone Project

Develop a comprehensive project schedule based on design documents while accounting for necessary adjustments.

Each rotation pairs you with a project management leader, providing invaluable mentorship within a thoughtfully designed curriculum. At the conclusion of each rotation, you will present your insights to executive leadership, culminating in a final capstone project. Throughout the program, you will encounter opportunities aimed at expanding your knowledge and enhancing your capabilities, preparing you to transition into a project management role upon successful completion.
