The Vice President of Ambulatory Services plays a pivotal role in overseeing and enhancing the patient experience across all outpatient facilities within the Trinity Health System.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA), Master of Public Health (MPH), or a related field.
- At least five (5) years of relevant professional experience.
- A minimum of two years in a managerial capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
The Vice President collaborates closely with Clinical Programs leadership to ensure a consistent patient experience across various ambulatory care sites.
- **Strategic Leadership:**
Directs ambulatory operations by establishing priorities, allocating resources, and developing policies and procedures that align with the organization's goals.
- **Patient Access Coordination:**
Creates a streamlined entry point for patients seeking services, including triage, scheduling, registration, and coordination of ambulatory services across multiple locations.
- **Quality and Performance Improvement:**
In partnership with medical staff and leadership, sets standards and strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing patient service quality and achieving positive outcomes.
- **Regulatory Compliance:**
Ensures that all areas comply with regulatory standards set by relevant accrediting bodies.
- **Budget Management:**
Develops and oversees capital and operational budgets to effectively allocate resources and meet organizational objectives.
- **Communication and Collaboration:**
Facilitates effective communication among administration, faculty, management, and staff to promote understanding of the organization's mission and strategic goals.
- **Staff Development:**
Recruits and selects staff in collaboration with Human Resources, ensuring adherence to staffing guidelines and fostering a high-quality workforce.
- **Community Representation:**
Acts as a representative of the ambulatory division to various stakeholders, including community members and regulatory agencies.
