We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Dietitian to join our team at Mercy. As a Clinical Dietitian, you will play a critical role in providing evidence-based nutrition care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical nutrition care and services to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of nutrition-related disorders.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Participate in performance improvement projects and serve as a clinical nutrition expert in task forces, team huddles, and multidisciplinary meetings.
- Develop and implement nutrition education programs for patients, families, and healthcare staff.
- Manage multiple tasks efficiently while prioritizing effective patient care.
- Experience: 0-3 years of healthcare experience in clinical dietetics and/or healthcare food service setting.
- Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics.
- Preferred Education: Master's Degree in Dietetics or related field.
- Certifications: Both RD and LD status must remain effective and in current status.
- Other: Basic computer and office equipment skills, basic skills in software programs including Word, E-mail, advanced presentations skills in PowerPoint or equivalent, advanced communicate skills in effectively communicating to patients, guests and co-workers.
