The Director of Cardiovascular Services will be responsible for overseeing the Cardiovascular Service line, which includes managing the operations of the Cath Lab, Endoscopy, Vascular, and Cardiac Rehabilitation departments. Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
- Maintaining safe staffing levels and adequate supply inventory.
- Managing efficient patient throughput.
- Developing and overseeing the departmental budget.
- Engaging in continuous quality and performance enhancement initiatives.
- Fostering professional development opportunities for staff and ensuring completion of annual competencies.
- Maintaining personal growth in nursing leadership and licensure.
- Communicating vital information to the Chief Nursing Officer and other administrative leaders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
- Must hold a Registered Nurse license in North Carolina (or a compact state).
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab environment.
- 5+ years of training, education, or experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab RN.
- BLS certification required within 30 days and ACLS certification within 90 days of hire.
