About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Atrium Health Charlotte. As a key member of our CVOR department, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional healthcare services.

Job Summary
  • Provide professional nursing care to patients with cardiovascular conditions, including those requiring surgical interventions.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, order diagnostic tests, and interpret results to inform patient care decisions.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that prioritize patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyze patient data to identify potential health risks and develop strategies for mitigation.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes.
  • Prioritize patient safety and well-being in all aspects of care delivery.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Current RN licensure in North Carolina.
  • Experience working in a cardiovascular setting, preferably with a strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations.
