Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fire Sprinkler Technician to join our team at SSI Fire & Safety Holdings, LLC. As a Fire Sprinkler Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing fire sprinkler systems to ensure the safety of our clients and their properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and test fire sprinkler systems to ensure proper function and compliance with industry standards
  • Maintain and repair fire sprinkler systems, including cleaning and inspecting pipes and equipment
  • Perform backflow inspections and testing to ensure water quality and safety
  • Conduct fire pump procedures and flow testing to ensure system performance
  • Document all work performed, including inspections, testing, and repairs
  • Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to ensure seamless service delivery
Requirements
  • Advanced technical school training or related work experience in fire protection systems
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools, including electric and battery-powered equipment
  • Proficient in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to lift 10-50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to work in inclement weather and confined spaces
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be in good physical condition with no limitations
Preferred Qualifications
  • One or more years' experience inspecting fire sprinkler systems
  • Working knowledge of backflow inspections, troubleshooting, and report documentation
  • Experience in Fire Extinguisher inspection procedures
  • Experience in Fire Pump procedures and flow testing
  • Enthusiasm for technology and improving processes
