Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker to provide diagnostic evaluations and brief focused treatment using evidenced-based treatment interventions and various treatment modalities.
Essential Responsibilities:- Evaluates and provides therapeutic intervention for patients requesting mental health services utilizing short-term solution-oriented individual, marital, family, and/or group psychotherapy, and/or biofeedback.
- Communicates effectively with outside agencies regarding treatment plans for referring agencies and/or outside providers; prepares written clinical reports and/or consultations as needed.
- Provides crisis intervention services as needed; determines appropriateness of hospitalization; assesses patients' potential for lethality.
- Must be able to sit majority of day during patient evaluation and psychotherapy sessions.
- Minimum two (2) years post-masters practice experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker OR Licensed Professional Counselor OR Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
- Masters degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or an equivalent Masters degree.
- Professional Counselor License (Colorado) OR Licensed Social Worker (Colorado) OR Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (Colorado).
- For in-patient assignments - applicants must possess qualifications to be credentialed at inpatient facility.
