At Applebee's, we're committed to making a difference in the lives of our guests and the communities we serve. As a Server, you'll play a vital role in creating a memorable experience for our guests, serving food, drinks, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and making suggestions regarding food, drinks, and service.
  • Interact with guests to create a friendly and upbeat atmosphere, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Relay orders to the service bar and kitchen via our point-of-sale computerized register system.
  • Observe and serve guests, responding to any needs or requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Present guest checks to each table and facilitate payment, making correct change and/or completing the proper charge card procedure.
  • Participate in the clearing and resetting of dining room tables, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
Qualification Standards:
  • A desire to care for others, grow, and learn.
  • A positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic math and verbal communication skills required.
  • Mobility required during the entire shift, with the ability to transport plates, glasses, and baskets to and from the dining room, service bar, and kitchen.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, bend, and stoop, with adequate vision to discern cleanliness throughout the restaurant and operate a touchscreen.
