Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Server/Cashier to join our team at TravelCenters of America. As a key member of our restaurant team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a positive and memorable experience for every traveler who visits our travel centers.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Friendly and Efficient Service: Welcome and serve each customer courteously, quickly, and efficiently with a sincere, positive, pleasant, and enthusiastic attitude.
- Be Knowledgeable of Menu Items: Be familiar with our menu offerings and promote daily specials to our guests.
- Process Transactions: Process transactions of customers on a point-of-sale (POS) register with accuracy and efficiency.
- Prioritize Tasks: Prioritize your work according to the kitchen and dining guest needs to ensure seamless service.
- Maintain Equipment: Maintain equipment per operating standards to ensure a clean and safe environment for our guests.
- Follow Safety Procedures: Follow proper safety procedures when handling and/or preparing food to ensure the health and safety of our guests.
- Build Strong Relationships: Build strong communication and rapport with leaders and co-workers to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
- A Dedicated Team Player: A dedicated individual who works well with others and is excited to be part of our team.
- Basic Computer Skills: Basic computer/POS knowledge preferred.
- Previous Experience: Previous food service experience a plus.
- Good Communication Skills: Good verbal communication skills.
- Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
