Key Responsibilities:

Assemble through-hole (THT) and surface mount (SMT) printed circuit board assemblies, placing components according to controlled parts lists, technical drawings, and quality standards.

  • Utilize various tools and hardware to assemble electrical or electromechanical devices.
  • Access and interpret documentation necessary for assembly tasks.
  • Perform basic hand soldering of surface mount and through-hole components, along with simple wiring tasks.
  • Conduct touch-up soldering as needed.
  • Operate equipment as required to meet customer specifications.
  • Familiarity with soldering iron tips and associated chemicals.
  • Identify defects in accordance with established workmanship standards.
  • Handle products and components responsibly.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Manage hazardous waste generated in the work area appropriately.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed.
  • Undertake additional assignments as necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certification in J-STD-001.
  • Fundamental soldering abilities.
  • Intermediate computer proficiency.
  • Capability to read and comprehend engineering assembly drawings.
  • Ability to follow assembly instructions accurately.
  • Experience in building electrical and electromechanical assemblies.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and dexterity.
  • Proficient in using hand tools.
  • High attention to detail and precision.
