POSITION SUMMARY:
Under general supervision, this role encompasses a comprehensive range of cleaning responsibilities essential for the upkeep and maintenance of casino facilities. This includes areas such as gaming zones, offices, banquet spaces, dining establishments, restrooms, and more. Additional tasks may be assigned as necessary.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
(This position may not encompass all duties listed, nor do the examples cover all tasks that may be performed.)
Ensure the cleanliness and functionality of facilities and fixtures within the assigned areas, including gaming zones, restrooms, offices, storage areas, and other locations. This is achieved through daily cleaning and restocking efforts to support the goals of Carson Nugget's Golden Touch guest service and preventative maintenance initiatives.
Sanitize restroom facilities and fixtures, including sinks, urinals, toilets, mirrors, countertops, and stalls, utilizing commercial-grade cleaning products appropriately. Replenish supplies (e.g., toilet paper, paper towels) as needed to guarantee restroom availability at all times.
Maintain cleanliness in offices, conference rooms, storage areas, and other spaces by managing waste disposal, vacuuming floors, dusting and polishing furniture, desks, counters, files, woodwork, fixtures, and equipment. Replace light bulbs and other fixtures as required, while performing related duties to uphold serviceable work environments.
Care for floor surfaces by sweeping, mopping, and polishing vinyl floors, as well as vacuuming and removing gum and other debris from carpets to ensure safe walking areas.
Identify and report maintenance needs within assigned work areas to supervisors. Ensure that janitorial supplies, materials, and equipment are readily available to complete assignments, thereby supporting the success of preventative maintenance programs.
Address guest inquiries courteously, utilizing the Quick Reference Guide to provide information regarding casino gaming promotions, special events, and programs to assist guests, promote marketing initiatives, and encourage participation.
Respond to public inquiries in a professional manner, providing information relevant to the area of assignment.
