Environmental Services Technician

As a key member of our Environmental Services team at Memorial Hospital of Gardena, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients and staff. Your primary responsibility will be to perform daily cleaning tasks in patient care and non-patient care areas, including high/low dusting, cleaning restrooms and fixtures, and disinfecting beds and surfaces.
You will also be responsible for assisting nursing staff with moving beds, pulling trash, and mopping floors. Additionally, you will respond to calls pertaining to your assigned areas and implement the 7-step cleaning procedures. If you are a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cleaning tasks in patient care and non-patient care areas
- Assist nursing staff with moving beds, pulling trash, and mopping floors

Requirements:
- Two years of hospital EVS experience preferred
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills

- Strong organizational skills and PC skills

- High school graduate or job-related work experience equivalent
