Job Overview

RRM Design Group is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Structural Engineering Intern to join our team. As a Structural Engineering Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including project design and detailing, calculations, specifications, and estimates.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the production of AutoCAD drafting and project file maintenance
  • Conduct research on technical questions and provide accurate answers
  • Set up and maintain plan files, and assist with project submittals and reproduction of documents
  • Assist with bid and construction administration documents, and visit project sites occasionally for observation and learning opportunities
  • Produce accurate CAD work that meets RRM CAD standards and appearance in a timely manner
  • Engage in campus activities related to the profession, and work collaboratively with the structural engineering group and other workgroups
  • Internship can grow as the student progresses in their engineering studies to include more calculations and detailing

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in architectural engineering or civil engineering with a Structural Concentration

Salary and Benefits

Base salary: $23.00 per hour, based on skill and experience
