Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant to join our team at Verbal Beginnings. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide essential support to licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering high-quality speech and language services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with supervising SLPs to develop and implement effective treatment plans for clients with various communication needs.
  • Assist in conducting client screenings, assessments, and evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement interventions and therapies as directed by SLPs, ensuring alignment with established goals and objectives.
  • Gather and compile data to track client progress, inform treatment decisions, and maintain accurate records.
  • Support the development and delivery of educational programs, workshops, and training sessions for clients, families, and community members.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to departmental equipment guidelines and safety protocols.
  • Pursue professional growth opportunities, staying current with industry developments, best practices, and certification requirements.
Requirements:
  • Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant in the state of practice
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team setting
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
Compensation:

The estimated salary range for this position is $55,000-$70,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include opportunities for professional growth, competitive compensation, and a supportive work environment.
