Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia, PC is a professional medical organization dedicated to delivering exceptional cardiology care. We are currently seeking a skilled Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at our Lansdale, PA office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform transthoracic echocardiograms and/or stress echoes under the supervision of physicians and clinical supervisors.
  • Maintain echo lab protocols and meet accreditation standards.
  • Effectively operate machinery and prepare preliminary echo updates in the electronic medical record (EMR) for the presence or absence of any abnormalities in the studies.
  • Notify physicians in a timely manner of any new significant abnormal findings noted during the test.
  • Perform daily, monthly, and annual care and maintenance of ultrasound equipment.
  • Respect patients' right to privacy and confidentiality.

Requirements:

  • Must be a Registered/Certified Echo Technician.
  • Must have at least 3 years of experience.
  • Must have the ability to multitask.
  • Computer knowledge is a must.
  • Experience with an EMR system is a plus.
