About the Role
CareNow is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our urgent care clinics.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform radiology procedures with precision and attention to detail, ensuring accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Conduct quality control checks on radiologic equipment to maintain optimal performance and patient safety.
- Process specimens for reference laboratories and maintain accurate records of in-house lab work, drug screens, and x-rays.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Assist with general patient care and provide support to colleagues as needed.
Requirements
- 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is beneficial.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Graduated from an accredited school of Radiological Sciences.
- Current ARRT license is required.
- General Medical Radiology Technician (GMRT) license if required by the state.
- The ability to obtain a BLS Certification within 30 days of start.
- Must obtain a Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment or promotion.
