We are seeking an experienced Senior Information Security and Compliance Counsel to join our Privacy and Information Security Unit (PISU) within our Corporate Law Department.

About the Role

The primary focus of this role is to advise on enterprise programs, including privacy, information security, risk, and compliance. You will provide legal advice on federal and state privacy and information security requirements, enterprise risk management, and the compliance and ethics program.

As a hybrid role, you will collaborate closely with peers in other legal practice groups and with business leaders throughout the enterprise. Located in Bloomington, IL, this position requires significant time in the office, but work arrangements could change over time based on business needs.

Responsibilities
  • Advise on enterprise programs, including privacy, information security, risk, and compliance.
  • Provide legal advice on federal and state privacy and information security requirements, enterprise risk management, and the compliance and ethics program.
  • Collaborate closely with peers in other legal practice groups and with business leaders throughout the enterprise.
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in at least one state and membership in good standing of the bar.
  • 5+ years of experience with privacy and/or information security laws and regulations.
  • Familiarity with risk and/or compliance programs.
  • Demonstrated adaptability, learning agility, and the ability to excel in a collaborative environment.

We estimate the salary for this role to be around $140,000 per year, depending on your location and experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, opportunities for professional development, and a dynamic work environment.
