Radiology Imaging Specialist PRN

Methodist Mansfield Ambulatory Surgery Center LLC is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist PRN to join our team.
Job SummaryThe Radiology Technologist PRN will be responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures, including computed radiography, fluoroscopy, and magnetic resonance imaging. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and maintain a high level of accuracy and quality in their work.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain patient flow and achieve production goals while conforming to established protocols and procedures.
- Operate imaging equipment, including computed radiography, fluoroscopy, computerized axial tomography, and magnetic resonance imaging.
- Evaluate the accuracy and quality of images prior to sending them to the picture archiving and communication system.
- Follow radiation safety measures to ensure the safety of patients and staff and comply with governmental regulatory requirements.
- Stay informed of new medical imaging equipment and standards of patient care.
- Provide patient education for diagnostic testing.
- Assure diagnostic testing reports are available to medical staff.
- Wear personal protective equipment, including an apron, thyroid shield, and film badge.
- Stock rooms with supplies and linen and maintain refrigerator, freezer, and contrast warmer logs.
- Train newly hired technologists in the operation of job-specific radiology equipment, maintaining proper patient flow, and following protocols and procedures.
- Associate's degree required; Bachelor's preferred.
- One or two years of related experience.
- ARRT and TDSHS-MRT certifications.
- Comfortable working in an OR environment operating a C-ARM.
