RESPONSIBILITIES
Weatherford is seeking a Repair & Maintenance Technician for our facility. This role is hands-on and rewarding, focusing on the repair and maintenance of equipment within the oil and gas sector. The Repair & Maintenance Technician will work within a supportive and inclusive team in a dynamic and progressive environment. Weatherford offers training, excellent benefits, and significant career advancement opportunities.
This entry-level position involves providing practical technical support for the production and repair of equipment and tools. In a workshop setting, you will receive field tools, disassemble them, and refurbish them for return to the field.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain tools according to procedures or supervisor instructions, completing relevant documentation.
- Execute maintenance tasks as required.
- Ensure the integrity of assembled units.
- Operate overhead cranes and forklifts, performing slinging in accordance with regulations.
- Maintain a clean workshop environment at all times.
- Organize verification of metrology and equipment calibration.
- Ensure equipment is maintained in optimal condition.
- Understand and comply with Weatherford's Quality Policy and all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures, and Workplace Instructions.
- Adhere to all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.
Required:
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Mechanically inclined.
- High School Diploma.
- 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience as a Machine Shop Mechanic.
- Background in the Oil and Gas industry.
