We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Registered Nurse to join our team in the Cranial Facial & Reconstructive Plastic Surgery department. As a Pediatric Registered Nurse, you will provide direct nursing care to patients and their families, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest level of care.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients and their families, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring that all necessary interventions are implemented in a timely and effective manner.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate, ensuring that all necessary information is shared with the healthcare team.
- Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care, ensuring that all necessary services are provided in a timely and effective manner.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders, ensuring that all necessary interventions are implemented in a timely and effective manner.
- Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team, ensuring that all necessary services are provided in a timely and effective manner.
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required.
- Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required OR a bachelors level degree not in nursing, an active RN License, and enrolled in an Alternate Entry Masters of Science in Nursing Program with a minimum of 1 year in the program completed.
- 2 years Min in Pediatrics
- 2 RN Experience
- Cleft Lip and Palate experience is a plus
- ICU, NICU, ER, (Critical Care)
