Job Summary

A Patient Care Technician (PCT) plays a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support in a dynamic healthcare environment. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide basic patient care, including vital sign measurement, personal care, and hygiene
  • Assist patients with mobility, including therapeutic transfer techniques
  • Act as a liaison between patients and nurses, reporting changes and concerns
  • Provide high-level customer service to patients, families, and visitors
  • Document patient care accurately and precisely
  • Participate in hand-off/report of pertinent information regarding patient and departmental needs
Requirements
  • BLS Basic Life Support certification (preferred upon hire)
  • Successful completion of nursing aide training program or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
