We are in search of dependable and meticulous Production Assembly Specialists to become a part of our logistics team. The primary duty of these specialists will be the precise assembly of products according to specified guidelines.
Production Assembly Specialists must thrive in a dynamic environment and demonstrate a commitment to upholding exceptional quality standards in every assembly task.
Benefits:
- Shift differentials and salary increases at 30 and 60 days
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute required assembly tasks for a designated cell while consistently ensuring product quality and adhering to safety protocols.
- Achieve and maintain daily production targets as set by the organization.
- Interpret and follow standard operating procedures.
- Keep supervisors and team leads informed about cell activities, including quality, personnel, parts supply, and safety concerns.
- Complete all necessary documentation and activities for the assigned work cell as directed by the supervisor.
- Participate in all mandatory training sessions.
- Maintain a focus on quality at all times.
- Address any quality and safety issues through the appropriate channels.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives as required by the organization.
- Utilize Lean methodologies and provided tools to enhance the production process.
- Ensure the work environment is clean, organized, and free from safety hazards.
- Actively contribute to departmental projects and objectives, including continuous improvement efforts.
- Uphold the highest ethical standards and demonstrate personal integrity, sound judgment, and a collaborative spirit.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Utilize all necessary tools in the designated work area.
Working Hours:
6:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Required Skills:
- Proficient in English, both verbal and written.
- Maintain an acceptable attendance record in accordance with company policies.
- Ability to work scheduled and adjusted hours, including overtime as needed.
- Capability to effectively train peers and manage required documentation.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Assembly or manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Willingness to wear all necessary personal protective equipment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
