Responsibilities

As a Fitness Kickboxing Coach at UFC GYM, you will be responsible for delivering high-energy kickboxing classes that engage and motivate our members. Your duties will include:

  • Selling and conducting private and small group training sessions with members.
  • Assisting members and encouraging their involvement in private training.
  • Ensuring accurate administration of client programs, including supplements, measurement tracking, and workouts.
  • Arriving on time, prepared, and attentive for training appointments.
  • Assisting in revenue-generating activities, such as complimentary workouts, supplement booths, and body fat tables.
  • Achieving personal monthly revenue objectives through sessions, PT, and supplement sales.
  • Conducting guest tours and completing sales through the Turn-Over process.
  • Executing an effective prospecting strategy through Starter Sessions and other prospecting activities.
Member Experience

Your focus will be on changing lives through Service, Science, and Sales. You will:

  • Conduct safe and effective private training sessions.
  • Maintain the organization and neat presentation of the fitness floor and training spaces.
  • Respond professionally to requests and inquiries from guests, members, and staff.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • In-depth knowledge of Private Training techniques from assessment to program design.
  • The ability to adjust and operate all Fitness Equipment.
  • Knowledge of company policies, practices, and procedures, including emergency and safety procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A friendly, enthusiastic, and positive attitude.
  • The ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
  • A strong customer service focus.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with basic record-keeping practices.
  • Computer proficiency with basic skills in Word and Excel.
  • The ability to work, set up, and execute successful weekends.
Minimum Certifications

You will need to hold:

  • Current CPR/AED certification.
  • Certification from a nationally recognized organization, such as Gold's Gym.
  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Minimum Experience

You will need:

  • At least six months of related experience in personal training.
  • At least six months of specific experience in instructing cardio kickboxing/boxing and/or boxing/kickboxing technique Group classes.
