Responsibilities

As a Fitness Kickboxing Coach at UFC GYM, you will be responsible for delivering high-energy kickboxing and boxing classes to our members. Your primary focus will be on providing a safe and effective training experience, while also promoting our club's services and products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sell and conduct private and small group training sessions with members.
  • Assist members and encourage member involvement in private training.
  • Ensure accurate administration of client programs, including supplements, measurement tracking, and workouts.
  • Arrive on time, prepared, and attentive for training appointments.
  • Assist in revenue-generating activities, such as complimentary workouts, supplement booths, and body fat tables.
  • Achieve personal monthly revenue objectives as set forth by the company in sessions, PT, and supplement sales.
  • Conduct guest tours and complete sales when needed through the Turn-Over process.
  • Execute an effective prospecting strategy by performing Starter Sessions and other prospecting activities.
Member Experience

Your role will also focus on delivering exceptional member experience, ensuring that our members feel valued and supported throughout their fitness journey. This includes:

  • Conducting safe and effective private training sessions.
  • Maintaining the organization and neat presentation of the fitness floor and training spaces.
  • Responding professionally to requests and inquiries from guests, members, and staff.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of private training techniques from assessment to program design.
  • Ability to adjust and operate all fitness equipment.
  • Knowledge of company policies, practices, and procedures, including emergency and safety procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Friendly, enthusiastic, and positive attitude.
  • Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
  • Possess a strong customer service focus.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with basic record-keeping practices.
  • Computer proficiency with basic skills in Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work, set up, and execute successful weekends.
Minimum Certifications

You will need to hold the following certifications:

  • Current CPR/AED certification (or in progress).
  • Certification from a nationally recognized organization (or in progress).
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Minimum Experience

While not required, we prefer candidates with:

  • Six months of related experience in personal training.
  • Six months minimum specific experience in instructing cardio kickboxing/boxing and/or boxing/kickboxing technique group classes.
