Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our team at Memorial Health University Medical Center. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our diagnostic imaging department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue used to diagnose medical conditions.
  • Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and positioning the patient to capture optimal images requested by the physician.
  • Accurately interpret a physician's scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, prepare and operate the CT scan equipment.
  • Assist the radiologist in administering medication and contrast agents, performing biopsies, and providing care to patients.
  • Prepare examination rooms for CT scans and/or invasive procedures, monitor inventory of supplies, and maintain room cleanliness.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification.
  • Registered Computerized Tomography Technician certification must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
  • Certificate in CT scanning or related field.
