Safety and Risk Management Specialist

Job Summary:
The Loss Control and Safety Support Analyst will assist the Loss Control Officer in monitoring and evaluating comprehensive safety and loss control programs for the State of Georgia.
This position will perform a wide range of office and field administration duties for the loss control program areas, including research, investigation, and review of loss control and safety topics and matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Loss Control Officer in designing, developing, and monitoring policies, procedures, and programs to meet the needs of State Agency clients.
- Perform office and field administration duties, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Research and investigate loss control and safety topics and matters to provide recommendations to the Loss Control Officer.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree from an accredited college or university and two years of related experience, or four years of related experience.
- Strong oral, written communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal and people management skills.
- Ability to effectively work with internal and external stakeholders.
Working Conditions:
This position may require occasional travel and completion of a pre-employment background check.
