Optical Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Optical Manager to join our team at Walmart. As an Optical Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of associates in the Vision Center, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of associates in the Vision Center, providing guidance and coaching to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and increase revenue.
- Ensure accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing, and in-stock and inventory levels in the Vision Center.
- Model and enforce Company policies, procedures, and standards, providing direction and guidance to associates on customer service approaches and techniques.
- Oversee the implementation of community outreach programs and encourage associates to serve as good members of the community.
- Ensure compliance with Company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations, analyzing and interpreting reports, and implementing and monitoring asset protection and safety controls.
- Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, providing recognition, and ensuring diversity awareness.
- Ensure the provision of quality eyewear, consulting with and educating customers, selecting products based on customer needs, obtaining measurements, verifying prescriptions, and maintaining confidential information.
- Uphold the Company's Open Door Policy, meeting with associates, listening to concerns, researching issues, reviewing Company policies and procedures, and suggesting resolution for associates.
- Coordinate, complete, and oversee job-related activities and assignments, developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs, identifying and communicating goals and objectives, building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results, identifying and addressing improvement opportunities, and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning.
- Completion of 2 or more years of college OR 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience OR 2 years' general work experience including 1 year's optical experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws, regulations, and/or rules.
