Your Responsibilities

As a Manager in our Alternative Investment Funds practice, you will lead and execute tax initiatives; deliver innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance services for a diverse clientele, including private equity, real estate, fund of funds, and venture capital.

In this role, you will:

  • Participate in business development efforts (e.g., preparing proposals, presenting in webinars, collaborating with other service lines to promote comprehensive tax strategies for potential clients, etc.)
  • Maintain ongoing communication with clients to ensure satisfaction, adhere to deadlines, stay updated on legislative changes, and effectively manage transitions.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of complex federal and state tax returns.
  • Oversee, mentor, and evaluate the performance of Seniors, Associates, and Interns.
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in an accounting firm, with a minimum of 3 years specializing in Alternative Funds;
  • Bachelor's and/or advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field (Preferred);
  • Advanced credential permitting client representation before the Internal Revenue Service required (e.g., CPA or JD);
  • Self-motivated with the initiative to identify opportunities and thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment;
  • Proficient in the use of technology.
