Job Description

MelroseWakefield Hospital has been offering the highest quality and accessible healthcare to the local community for over 130 years. We have two hospital campuses, a Level III Trauma Center, a Level III Special Care Nursery, a Breast Health Center, a Cardiovascular Center, over 20 locations and 50 specialties.

This unit cares primarily for adult acute care patients who have a wide variety of diagnosis and co-morbidities. Patients most commonly have cardiac and medical conditions but may also be post-surgical. Common medical diagnoses are chest pain, pneumonia, renal failure, COPD, CHF, atrial fibrillation, GI bleed and syncope.

Our team encourages staff involvement in shared governance and continued professional growth. We have been recognized as the Daisy Team of the Year.

This unit includes a variety of new graduates and experienced nurses who collaborate with multidiscipline to provide high quality care.
