Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Solutions Specialist to join our team in El Paso, TX. As a key member of our payroll team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our clients, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing, and resolving any issues that may arise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide product support to clients, responding to questions and providing navigation support for payroll and benefits products.
- Assist clients with payroll processing, resolving issues, and ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to identify and resolve issues, ensuring that services meet client expectations.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing consultative support and recommendations on product optimization.
- Play a critical role in resolving issues during quarter and year-end support periods.
- Work on complex projects, including calculation updates, special reports, tax amendments, and company setup.
- Research historical data, determine adjustments, and use online tools to make corrections.
Requirements:
- High-level payroll knowledge, including payroll skills for processing client payrolls.
- Basic knowledge of payroll tax principles and wage and hour laws.
- Controller/ Self-Starter/ Go-Getter profile, with the ability to take initiative in daily responsibilities.
- Corporate maturity/business maturity to interface with high-level leadership and represent the company well.
- Energetic, with a curiosity and enthusiasm for learning and succeeding.
- Aptitude to grow within the company, with a driven personality and a long-term career goal.
- Ability to think on feet, with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills (oral and written), with the ability to articulate clearly and effectively with clients and educate on processes.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to prioritize competing demands without getting flustered.
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail, with technical savviness and agility in an ever-changing environment.
- Prior experience working and excelling in a client-facing role, with skills including teamwork, adaptability, organization, and follow-through.
