Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead the implementation of a software solution in the alternative energy industry. The ideal candidate will have experience managing projects and people, with a strong background in business process management and software implementation.

The successful candidate will drive projects to completion by mapping core business processes to streamline operations and optimize the engineering and procurement of a multi-billion dollar company. They will be responsible for standardizing processes, building relationships with stakeholders, leading workshops, and driving user adoption through change management initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Map business processes to streamline operations and optimize the engineering and procurement of a multi-billion dollar company
  • Standardize processes and drive projects to completion in a timely manner
  • Build relationships with stakeholders and lead workshops to attain user buy-in
  • Facilitate adoption through change management initiatives
  • Troubleshoot issues related to software implementation and ensure compliance with established policies
  • Oversee and manage the design, development, and deployment of technology-related projects
  • Implement procedures to ensure quality control and compliance with project objectives
  • Develop/maintain detailed project plans and timelines to track the progress of deliverables
  • Facilitate communication between all stakeholders, ensuring a coordinated effort toward successful project completion
  • Analyze current processes and recommend improvements for efficiency, scalability, and cost reduction
  • Manage budgeting and resource allocation across multiple projects
  • Identify risks associated with technical projects and develop mitigation strategies

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in both product ownership and business analysis
  • Ability to manage complex projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of software implementation and change management
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Process Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field preferred
  • Relevant certifications or equivalent work experience is preferred
