Job Summary

223 Aurora Medical Group, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join our team in the Perioperative Department. As a key member of our anesthesia care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a safe and efficient surgical experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide pre-anesthesia evaluation, anesthesia care, and post-anesthesia recovery services to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized anesthesia plans.
  • Manage patient airways, administer anesthetics, and monitor vital signs to ensure patient safety and comfort.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to anesthesia care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and anesthesia services in the electronic medical record.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Nursing and active APRN/APRN-FPA/APNP license in state(s) of practice.
  • Active national board certification as CRNA by nationally certifying board (NBCRNA).
  • Active DEA registration prior to hire.
  • Active ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications as required by clinical site/practice and/or role prior to or within 6 months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a perioperative setting and providing anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient and safe patient care.
Working Conditions

The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist will work in a fast-paced perioperative environment, with frequent exposure to mechanical, electrical, chemical, radiation, blood, and body fluids. The ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow infection control protocols is essential.
