Greater East Texas Community Action Program is seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for creating a safe, healthy, and engaging learning environment for preschool-aged children. Your primary focus will be on implementing a valid and reliable curriculum, promoting social, emotional, and cognitive development, and fostering a sense of community and respect among children and adults.

Responsibilities:

* Provide a safe and nurturing environment that encourages children to explore and learn
* Promote good health and nutrition, and help prevent illness
* Support children in developing verbal and non-verbal communication skills
* Encourage creativity and self-expression through various activities and experiences
* Help children develop a sense of independence and self-confidence
* Foster positive relationships among children and adults, and promote empathy and mutual respect

Qualifications and Requirements:

* Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field
* Positive, motivating, and energetic personality
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions regarding classroom operations
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
